Ashlyns is an organic farm and well established business run by the Collins family. Farming 1500 acres in the rolling clay lands of West Essex, the Collins family began conversion to organic in 1997 and saw their farm undergo a transformation resulting in a landscape more vibrant, diverse and in tune with the ancient and unspoilt countryside surrounding it than ever before. Ashlyns training kitchen came into being as a pioneering enterprise with the mission to improve the health of families through improved school catering. Running courses for catering staff with the goal of improving the quality of school meals throughout the country, the training kitchen also offers courses for the amateur with keen interest in the quality of their food.
